Grandpas Cole Slaw

1/2 cup mayonnaise;
1/3 cup sugar;
1/4 cup milk;
1/4 cup butter milk; 
2 1/2 tbs lemon juice; 
1 1/2 tsp white vinegar; 
1/2 tsp salt;
1/8 tsp pepper; 
8 cups cabbage; (chopped);
1/4 cup carrots; (shredded);
2 tbs onion; (minced).


Be sure cabbage and carrots are chopped uo into very fine pieces (about the size of rice).
Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat until smooth.
Add cabbage, carrots, and onion, mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
