Ingredients:
1 package frozen brocolli;
1 package cream cheese; 8 ounce package cubed;
1 loaf velveeta; cubed;
1 bottle beer;
1 small onion; diced;
2 tablespoon butter;
2 tablespoon flour;
2 cup milk;
1 cup chicken broth;
1 tablespoon salt;
1 teaspoon pepper;
1 teaspoon nutmeg.
Preparation:
In a large stockpot, add the butter until melted and then saute the onion until translucent, about 5min. Add the flour and whisk.
Add the milk, broth, salt/pepper and nutmeg and heat thru on medium heat. Add the cubed cream cheese and velveeta until melted thru, then slowly add the beer. Pour in the frozen brocolli, then simmer on low for 1/2 hr.
